You will find how to trace a leak back to its actual entry point, which is rarely directly above the stain; what a reasonable repair costs relative to a replacement; and how to make a roof safe temporarily when the weather will not wait. There is also guidance on documenting damage properly, which matters if an insurance claim follows.

These are written for Indiana houses and Indiana weather, where wind and freeze-thaw cause most of what we are called out to fix.
